The topic of this source was the fire back in November of 2007 that occurred in the Memorial Union. I really want to explore this topic for this assignment because I never knew this fire had occurred and not only do I find it interesting, but I want to know how people felt not having a Memorial Union at the time. I will evaluate this topic by looking at all the factors attributed to this fire in this newspaper article. This article was basically just about the fire that occurred in the memorial union in 2007 and how it cost $53,000,000 to fix and rebuild everything. The author was William Hermann and it was 5 pages long.

The topic of this is the top selling music within the Memorial Union at ASU and I am looking into this just to see how important the MU really is at ASU. This article was basically about the Top 10 selling music in the Memorial Union. I only looked at this article to realize truly how big the MU is and how it contains so many different things to the point they rank the music sold there. It was published by the Phoenix New Times, Issue 227, Volume 32.

The topic of this thesis was basically about the experience of two professors at ASU and I'm looking into it just to see if it ties back to the MU and if not how these teachers experiences were at ASU. This thesis talked about many different things all the way from race influence to tasks. I didn't really find it helpful but I couldn't find any books on the MU or really any scholarly articles just diagrams on certain parts of the building. It was written by Carrie Deaken and she wrote it while at NAU.
My plan for this project is to use the Memorial Union as my location. This is only because I am so familiar with it and I recognize all of the locations in there and all of their functions. I really don't know much else about other locations.
